Projects
Below you’ll find a collection of my academic and personal projects developed during my studies at SDU. Each project explores different aspects of game development, learning technology, and creative software engineering, combining technical depth with playful design and user-centered thinking.

Quest of Aivengarde
Master's Project | SDU
A Master’s thesis exploring three approaches to integrating large language models (LLMs) into dynamic NPC dialogue systems in RPGs. The study compares function-calling, and memory, supported by a custom-built Unity prototype and user testing. Results show a significant increase in player engagement, especially among more casual player demographics.

We Are In Space
Learning Technology 2 | Semester Project, SDU
A VR-based educational application built in Unity to teach Danish school students about the solar system through immersive learning and interactive missions. Developed with curriculum alignment and tested with real classrooms.

Solitude
Game Design 2 | Semester Project, SDU
A 3D Unity story-driven game that explores imagination through a child's perspective. Developed as a vertical slice with a focus on narrative design and environmental storytelling.

Solitude VR
Bachelor Project | SDU
A bachelor thesis exploring the challenges and opportunities in converting a traditional 3D adventure game to VR. Focused on immersion, UI design, motion mechanics, and player testing using Solitude as a case study.

Meco 1
Social Technology Lab 1 | Semester Project, SDU
An interactive photo album application designed to support elderly and dementia patients in recalling memories through elaborative rehearsal and accessible UI. Features include face-tagging, text-to-speech, and a companion app for family uploads.

Meco 2
Social Technology Lab 2 | Semester Project, SDU
A cross-generational photo-sharing platform using a tablet app for the elderly and a mobile app for younger family members. Focused on accessibility, engagement, and memory-sharing, built in Unity with MongoDB.

Roomba Rampage
Game Design 1 | Semester Project, SDU
A 2D multiplayer hotseat Unity game focused on asymmetrical design, iterative prototyping, and game feel, developed as a semester project with dynamic pickups, polished visuals, and screen shake mechanics.

Motedu
Learning Technology 1 | Semester Project, SDU
Motedu is a pixel-art gamified learning platform aimed at boosting students' motivation for homework through XP, levels, and a teacher-student interface. Built using Unity, Node.js, and MongoDB.

The Temple of Xibalba
Game Jame 1 | SDU
In this fast-paced voxel art game, the player descends into an ancient temple to retrieve magical artifacts while battling waves of enemies. Developed in Unity under tight time constraints, the game features procedurally inspired level design, combat-focused gameplay, and handcrafted voxel assets. The project emphasized rapid prototyping, creative teamwork, and efficient use of limited development time.

The Life of a Fruit Fly
Game Jam 2 | SDU
In this humorous and heartfelt game, players take control of a fruit fly with one goal: complete its bucket list before time runs out. With each short-lived fly’s death, a new one takes its place to continue the mission. The game explores themes of urgency, persistence, and legacy through light platforming, quirky mechanics, and a charming visual style.
